WTF?

I don't log in to MySpace or Facebook that much anymore, but whenever I do, it seems like another person from my past has gotten married, or had a kid, or something. Doesn't that seem kind of young to you? I mean, I'm only 25. I can't imagine being married and pregnant with my second child.

The part that drives me crazy is that half of those soccer moms I see on my "social network" are incredibly intelligent women. Not that intelligent women can't settle down and have a family, but... I guess I would just expect them to explore some options before doing so.

Maybe it's just that I have absolutely no maternal instinct whatsoever. (And no, I'm not going to magically start wanting babies, so STOP ASKING!) I just can't put myself in that position... I can't understand why having a husband and a few kids would ever be exciting.

Don't get me wrong -- I would like to try to understand. Not so that I can become... that... but just so I don't look at pregnant women like aliens anymore. Honestly, can someone explain the appeal of nesting to me?

Disgusting.

I have no other word for it other than "disgusting."

It is prop 102. Prop 102? Well... check it out yourself. Then you'll understand why I find it so disgusting.

No on Prop 102

Yes on Prop 102 (although I have no idea why you would vote yes...)
